Proudly erected on the outskirts of the city, Fréjus’ Roman amphitheatre stands out as one of its emblematic monuments. Today able to seat five thousand spectators it used in its heyday to receive at least twice this figure. At that time, the citizens would attend the games, gladiator or wild beasts fights.
